This company video accompanied our June 2024 Cuban Dance Social at Glen Echo Park’s Spanish Ballroom. It is part of our social dance history; find current dates and tickets on the events page.
Our recurring gatherings at Glen Echo Park bring Cuban music and social dancing to the D.C. region several times a year. Come to learn, meet fellow dancers and share the dance floor. Event formats vary, with adult classes and social dancing, and family programming at selected gatherings.
Our socials bring dancers of different ages and experience together. A shared circle makes room to dance, cheer each other on and enjoy Cuban music as a community.

February: DC Casineros Cuban Dance Social
Featuring DJs AC (Portsmouth, VA) and Timba Titan (Baltimore, MD)
on Friday, February 24, 8pm-12:00am
at the DANCE PLACE THEATER
3225 8th St. NE, Washington, DC
DC Casineros is hosting our monthly dance social in the Brookland neighborhood of Washington, DC. Come party with DC Casineros community company dancers and take a Beginner Casino dance class at 8pm. You don’t want to miss the DC Casineros monthly Cuban Dance Social!
In the beautiful Dance Place Theater, we will dance the night away to sounds of Son, Songo, Timba, Guaguancó, Cha Cha Chá, Guaracha, Rumba, and other Cuban music…Beer, Wine and Appetizers will be sold at the counter (only when at Dance Place)!
The program will be:
8:00-8:45pm, All levels Cuban popular Dance class
8:45pm-12:00am, Open dancing to a variety of Cuban dance music
11:00pm, *Performances TBA, incl. Las Guerreras*
Cost $12 general / $10 for students/seniors
