Company Dancer and Instructor
LindaRose Piccolo is a Cuban American dancer entering her third year with DC Casineros. She has trained in Casino and Rueda de Casino for six years, building on sixteen years of study in jazz, modern, tap and ballet. Her experience in social dancing inspired her to pursue a technical education in Casino. Teaching, Choreography and Education
LindaRose served as vice president and choreographer of Cornell University’s Salsa Pa’lante dance team in 2021. Her university experience also included teaching-assistant work in salsa and Latin dance physical-education courses. She graduated from Cornell in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations and minors in Business and Law & Society.
Her community teaching includes 2024 merengue, bachata and salsa programs at the Friendship Heights Village Center in Maryland. These introductory classes emphasized musical timing, rhythm, body movement and lead-follow connection, welcoming students without prior experience or a partner.
